Terence Brown Sr.
CEO
Born in rural Jamaica, Mr. Terence Brown brings a unique blend of determination, self-reliance, and passion to Steel Tech Fabricators. Moving to America in the early 90s, with his son T.J., Mr. Brown embarked on a journey of hard work and self-improvement. Starting his career as a welder in Rochester NY, Terence swiftly rose through the ranks at a local fabrication and erection company, eventually leading both shop and field teams within a few short years. Recognizing his entrepreneurial spirit, he founded Steel Tech Fabricators alongside his son and a dedicated group of colleagues from his previous company.
When he's not overseeing the daily operations at Steel Tech, Mr. Brown is an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoys spending time with his family, working on landscaping projects, and actively participating in community-building efforts. His inspiring story and commitment to excellence make Mr. Brown the driving force behind our company's success.
T.J. Brown
President Of Operations.
T.J. Brown president of Steel Tech, has charted a remarkable journey since his arrival in America with his father. Even during his time studying at SUNY Morrisville, T.J. was fully committed to the family business. This blend of academic pursuit and real-world business experience has provided him with a unique perspective. Marked by adaptability, continuous learning, and growth, he now manages various aspects of the business while actively encouraging team collaboration to shape the company's strategic direction. His approach to leadership, characterized by openness to continuous improvement, has shifted Steel Tech from traditional industry models to a more inclusive, sustainable, and innovative path.
Beyond his professional commitments, T.J. is an avid enthusiast of off-roading and architectural designs. His passion for exploring urban landscapes and traveling aligns with his deep interest in history, reflecting a broader vision that transcends conventional boundaries.
Joseph "Enock" Nelson
Lead Fabricator. Shop Supervisor.
Born and raised in Haiti, Joseph Enock Nelson took a leap of faith and relocated to the United States in search of new opportunities. He is a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School and was a part of the Baden Street Settlement Center in Rochester NY. Mentored in various trades, Joseph discovered his natural talent for working with his hands and a passion for fabrication. He pursued a career in Welding and Fabrication, honing his skills at BOCES while independently learning to interpret complex blueprints. Joseph's hard work and dedication paid off when he quickly rose through the ranks at a local fabrication shop. Today, he is the lead fabricator & shop supervisor at Steel Tech and continues to be a respected industry fabricator and a proud family man, with a loving spouse and children.
Joe Sunday
Lead Erector. Field Superintendent. Field Safety Leader.
Joe Sunday is a seasoned superintendent with over 30 years of experience in the industry. He has a passion for steel erection and has worked on numerous multi-story buildings and infrastructure projects throughout his career. At Steel Tech, Joe is known for his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to manage complex construction schedules. He values safety above all else and is committed to ensuring that all steel erection work is performed in accordance with industry standards. In his free time, Joe is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and never misses a game.

Asante Brown
Asante serves as our Office Manager, expertly overseeing operations within our office. With a bachelor’s degree from Case Western and a Master’s degree from Rush University, Asante brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. She is responsible for preparing reports and ensuring that office goals align with our overall company objectives. Her commitment to excellence helps drive our team's success and fosters a positive and productive work environment, and her contributions are key to our company's growth and success.
Georgia Jones
As an Office Administrator, Georgia plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our office. With a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Brockport. Mrs. Jones brings a keen attention to detail and a strong sense of organization to our team. Georgia assists with all administrative tasks, from processing payroll and correspondence to maintaining files and processing documents. Always proactive, Georgia anticipates the needs of our team and is always ready to lend a hand where needed. Georgia's exceptional communication skills and dedication to efficiency make her an invaluable asset to our team. She currently lives in Irondequoit with her husband.
